Restock Radar ("the App") is developed and operated by CREDO LLC (合同会社CREDO), a company registered in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. You can reach us at credo.llc.0711@gmail.com.
When you install the App, Shopify grants it the following read-only permissions:
| Scope | What it lets us read | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
read_products | Product titles, variant titles, SKUs, variant IDs | To show you which item is running low and label alerts with a readable name |
read_inventory | Available inventory quantities per variant | To detect when stock crosses your low-stock threshold and to forecast sell-out dates |
The App requests no other scopes. It cannot read orders, customers, payment details, or any other store data.
To make forecasting possible, the App keeps a small amount of data on its own servers:
The App never receives, stores, or processes personal data about your customers. No names, no email addresses, no shipping addresses, no order contents.
Data is stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database hosted in the Asia-Pacific (Singapore) region, and the application runs on servers in the same region. All traffic between your store, the App, and the database is encrypted in transit using TLS.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service (our hosting and database providers), and, if you choose to configure it, with Slack — solely to deliver the alert messages you asked for.
Inventory history is retained for rolling analysis while the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, Shopify notifies us and we delete all data associated with your shop, normally within 48 hours and in any case within 30 days.
The App implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks:
customers/data_request — we hold no customer data, so there is nothing to returncustomers/redact — we hold no customer data, so there is nothing to eraseshop/redact — all data belonging to your shop is permanently deletedYou may also request deletion or a copy of your shop's data at any time by emailing us.
Access tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed to the browser. Requests from Shopify are verified using HMAC signatures. Access to production systems is limited to the operator of CREDO LLC.
The App uses only the session cookies required by Shopify to keep you authenticated inside the Shopify admin. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify merchants inside the App.
